Mr Ibu: A Legend

 Nigeria is facing a very difficult and dark time in the history of the country, we are a people who have the determination to excel in every aspect of life. On this day of 2nd March 2024, while gripped with hard economic hardship and the high cost of living, the country] is struck with very devastating news and is thrown into mourning, coupled with the hardship.

It was a very sad night when the news of the death of one of the greatest comedians to ever grace the Nigerian movie industry NOLLYWOOD Mr John Ibu Okafor popularly known as MR IBU. Tears can't stop flowing while I go back on memory lane about most of the movies I have watched, it is a very bitter pill to swallow to say goodbye to a man who made us smile, a man who brought people of different work of life together, a man who united us in the only way he can COMEDY. Oh, what a sad time for the good people of Nigeria. What a setback in the industry. It was confirmed Mr Ibu died of blood clotting when we all thought the worst had passed and yet we got the shock of our lives. This is so painful, it hurts to lose a great man like Me Ibu. 

Dear God, this is a very painful loss to the people of Nigeria, you know best why you take him from us. But we pray for forgiveness and to change our lives for the better, to be our brothers and neighbor keepers, and to get closer to you in Christ's name Amen forwell MR IBU.
